About
Matthew Neeley received a BS in Physics from Stanford University (2004) and a PhD in Physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara (2010), where he worked on superconducting qubits in the group of John Martinis. After graduate school he was a staff researcher at MIT Lincoln Laboratories working on superconducting qubits and resonators. In 2012 he joined Nest Labs as a software engineer and subsequently moved to Google's Quantum AI team with the goal of building the first useful quantum computer.
