Exploring Optimization Techniques For Finding Contraction Paths
Abstract
In my talk, I will present a historical overview of the different numerical methods used to find optimal contraction paths. I will introduce TNSA, which has been used for the optimization of the contraction used for [Nature, 634 (8033), 2024], and TNCO, which is an ongoing effort to build upon TNSA.
