Abstract
This article explores the natural next step for Compression Dictionary Transport (RFC 9842) by extending its benefits to dynamic, personalized HTML. Using the experimental Dictionary TTL feature, the article demonstrates how browsers can decouple dictionary caching from HTTP caching, allowing previous dynamic responses to serve as delta compression dictionaries. The piece includes a live interactive prototype demonstrating up to 87% byte savings on dynamic cross-query navigation, showcasing significant potential for web performance improvements.
