Matt Welsh


Matt Welsh is a Principal Engineer at Google and leads the Chrome Mobile teams in Seattle and Kirkland, WA. His focus is on improving the web experience and performance for the next billion users in markets such as India, Indonesia, and Africa. His research interests span distributed systems, mobile computing, and networking. Prior to joining Google, he was a Professor of Computer Science at Harvard University.
