Xiaozhou Li


Xiaozhou (Steve) Li has been a software engineer at Google since 2011. Earlier, he was a researcher at HP Labs, and before that, a software design engineer at Microsoft. His main interests are in distributed systems, especially scalability, performance, and resource efficiency. He received his PhD in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was fortunate enough to have been taught by the late great Edsger W. Dijkstra (eulogy). He has published at Communications of the ACM, SIAM Journal on Computing, PODC, SIGCOMM, and WWW (full list).
