William Chan


William Chan is currently a student at George Brown College studying the Culinary and Baking Arts. He is also a Research Scientist at Google Brain Toronto. He graduated with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016, and a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2011. His current research crosses the fields of machine learning, deep learning, sequence understanding/generation, iterative refinement models with applications to natural language processing, speech recognition, speech synthesis and computer vision.
