Ramon Caceres

I am a software engineer at Google. I was previously a computer science researcher at Bell Labs, AT&T Labs, and IBM Research. I have also held leadership positions in several startup companies. My areas of focus include computer systems and networks, mobile computing, human mobility, security, and privacy. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. I am an IEEE Fellow, an ACM Distinguished Scientist, and a recipient of the SIGMOBILE Test-of-Time Award. I serve on the board of the CRA Committee on Widening Participation in Computing Research.
