Google Research

Mike Schaekermann

My research is located at the intersection of human-computer interaction, machine intelligence and medicine. I aim to make productive use of ambiguity and expert disagreement to improve AI-assisted decision making in high-stakes domains like medicine. Currently, I spend half of my time as a Student Researcher within Google Health and the other half as a PhD candidate in the computer science department at the University of Waterloo.
