Ali Mousavi


Ali Mousavi is currently an AI resident in Google AI. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology in 2011 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2014 and 2018, respectively. In summer 2010, he was a visiting researcher in the Laboratory of Information and Communication Systems at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He is broadly interested in AI and statistical machine learning applications. His Ph.D. research was mainly focused on developing data-driven approaches for solving inverse problems. He has received the Rice University George R. Brown School of Engineering Fellowship, Ken Kennedy Institute Schlumberger Graduate Fellowship, and the Society of Iranian-American Women for Education (SIAWE) Fellowship.
