About
I am a Software Engineer at the Structured Data Group, working on computational journalism. I use machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval to help computers understand news and build products that will make news more informative and engaging.
I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Illinois at Chicago where I was advised by Lev Reyzin and György Turán, and was working on problems in computational complexity theory, combinatorial optimization, and machine learning.
