Gerardo Flores


Gerardo is a software engineer in the Public & Environmental Health research team. He works on devising novel signals of social determinants of health, using differentially private statistics to empower public health and promote health equity. Prior to that, he applied deep learning to model the structure of clinical records for actionable and clinically relevant predictions. Gerardo received his AB in economics from Harvard, while his interest in narrative structure formed in the time it took for his models to train.
