Xiang Zhang


Xiang Zhang has been a research scientist at Google Cloud AI since 2020, working on applying deep learning for natural language representation, reasoning and generation. Previously, he worked at Element AI from 2018 to 2020, after obtaining his Ph.D. from New York University advised by professor Yann LeCun. From 2012 to 2015, he participated in a few pioneering research projects in computer vision using convolutional networks. Prior to 2012, Xiang worked on research in computational photography.
