Yi Tay

About

Yi Tay is a Senior Research Scientist at Google AI working on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He is currently based in the Singapore office. Prior to that, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from NTU Singapore in 2019 and bachelors degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2015. He has won multiple awards for his work, such as the ICLR 2021 outstanding paper award, WSDM 2021 best paper award (runner-up) and WSDM 2020 best paper award (runner-up). Moreover, he has served as area chair for top-tier NLP conferences such as EMNLP and NAACL.
