Google Research

Ekaterina Gonina

I am a Software Engineer on the Google Brain team focusing on improving performance and scalability of machine learning applications. Prior to Google, I spent two and a half years at Twitter building data analytics libraries and deep learning infrastructure. I received a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in December 2013. I worked in the Parallel Computing Lab where my research focused on bridging the productivity, performance and portability gap for applications running on parallel hardware (with examples in audio and speech processing). I received a BS in CS from UIUC in 2008.
