Google Research

Olivier Teboul

I joined Google Brain in February 2019. Back in 2007, I graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris (applied mathematics engineering 2007) and from ENS Cachan (Master MVA 2007). I then obtained my Ph.D in Computer Vision from Ecole Centrale Paris in 2011, under the supervision of Nikos Paragios. I left the academic world in 2011, moved to Brazil and joined Google as a software engineer, working on Google search. I became an entrepreneur back in France in 2016, started an EdTech company of which I was the CTO for 3 years, building great software to help people learn new languages. Since early 2019 I am a software engineer in Google Brain Paris, mainly dedicated in giving a digital life to research ideas, in reinforcement learning, differentiable programming and optimal transport among other things.
